is shammy + sorc as good as AM + BW?
and is it possible to have a blast in oRVR as a duo or full party/wb is a must?

Me playing with a friend. He wants to play archmage but it's not certain while I am okay with any class I think. Any suggestions for good duos? Not neceserrily AM + someone, but any of your ideas.

ah, interesting. so the difference between classes for farming armor pots is basically marginal? but how about absorb pots? how do ppl farm those?

from a technical point of view you can go with every class for a solo build. some are more easy than other but lion and marauder are also possible as engi or magus.

but 1vsx is in my eyes endgame. you need BiS and a excellent game/class understanding .

I'm not sure if RoR is the game for it and how much it is more fun than being a part of an unstoppable melee train, but I want to try out a class which can do great at 1vx fightings. Are sham-am/wh-we my only options or is there actually more variety?

All Jeremy Soule's music is good for doing exploration, though this is what I think almost perfectly catches WAR atmosphere for me (29:56), but maybe not the best option for RVR or SC.
