This is a pvp game at heart, but has added pve activities. PVE is not possible solo. And pvp is possible, but not solo friendly at all. Every patch they release makes solo pvp gameplay worse and worse.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that Slayer (and I'd imagine Choppa too) feels better than before in warband setting.
Yes, you lost some survivability in Yellow, but that pales in comparison to the sheer utility, and QoL things Slayer gained.

It means that Order players prefer playing either WHs and rDPS rather than serious WB compositions. While mDPS train is still meta on destro and Choppa outshines Marauder and mSH. Choppa certainly isn't better for WB than Slayer, because Shatter Limbs is insane both in offense and defense ...
