Return of Reckoning

So i think I figured it out i changed my password via lost password for forum login made it all lowercase letters but still cant login, and i think thats due to the bug i read earlier can anyone confirm?

I cant seem to remember my password i tried to use the user control panel but it asks for your current password I have the email and everything else but cant seem to get past this issue, is there a way to change password via them sending a confirmation link to my email somehow?
