Re: Critique on the current state from a veteran player.
Again, the culprit behind this problem is simple to spot. For some strange reason healers don't have to invest in their primary stat. I've never heard a credible reason for why it should be that way. Here is the thing- they do, as someone having a zealot I can guarantee you that zealot with will co...

Re: Critique on the current state from a veteran player.
If you think more CC would be a good solution, I recommend trying DAOC, that's what happens in that game, then you could see for yourself. You had never tried Anarchy Online. 30 min duration snares, 4 min duration roots, no immunities. And then there are Shadowbreeds- for example, 30 sec very large...

Re: Critique on the current state from a veteran player.
In normal RPGs healers are squishy and vulnerable to harassment, Currently on a break from RoR, playing NWN 1 for a bit. Made a cleric. With self buffs- more armor than fighters, more melee damage as well (Darkfire), higher saves, very nice heals (heal yourself 10% to full in 1 spell lol), and in a...

Re: Critique on the current state from a veteran player.
The big question which everyone is missing is if its a solo dps or aoe dps. On a WE back in the day when I actively played it I could 1v1 healers just fine- 75% heal debuff + good single target dmg does that. From other hand, if you are trying to 1v1 healer on a toon specced for aoe, don't be surpri...

Re: Dps Dok/Wp need at least 1 Ap based Melee Heal, even Book specs get Dm/Ki
Judgement/FoK costing class resources was to counter-balance the addition of the now-removed snare component. Then the devs removed the snare component but did not revert the class resource cost, making it an utterly useless "Throw Axe" ability. Question is why it was done this way. I hig...

Re: Dps Dok/Wp need at least 1 Ap based Melee Heal, even Book specs get Dm/Ki
I suspect that the intention with Judgement/FoK costing mechanic instead of costing ap+ building mechanic was to make the chalice/book dok/wp a third dps dok/wp option, in addition to full dps/snb. Chalice/book does solves the SE/RF problem while being kited quite well, and there are actually a pret...

Re: Mind killer cleanese are you serious?
Off topic in the first reply. Well done. I was under the impression that cleanse always removed an entire stack for things like mind killer, rend (Mara), etc. Does it not do that in general or is Mind Killer just bugger. Has OP actually tested to confirm how cleanse works for all stacking debuffs? ...
