I think at release LOTD was a way to up the ante on gear. Suddenly you had to have the new soul talismans in the special LOTD vendor weapons. (Then they did it again with the DLC pack for RR 100). Their main driver though was how to keep people paying their $15 a month when they've maxed their toons ...

Should be saved by default. At least mine is, as long as it's on the same PC. Obviously if I switch to my laptop it's a different instance.

Does anyone know how I could get images of the shrouds and banners from LOTD?

From memory there's a funerary shroud of Djaff, a funerary shroud of Khalida and maybe a few others.

There was also a banner you could purchase with scarabs that summoned skeletons to fight for you.

With a decent extraction you could trace it in vector and scale it up as large as you want

I'd love to be able to make some of my crafting alts look more like crafters. For example, the staff, robe and vine head thing for the cultivator trainer in Altdorf

Still, worth playing. It has to get reeeally bad before it's noticeable. Even then it's usually my session with the ISP getting stale.
