Re: Everything wrong with the 03/04/26 Patch
To be honest I think everything gone downhill since the ability rework (and GCD changes).
Instead of admitting the mistake DEVS keep doubling down and the result is a very boring, bland and uninteresting system.
If you'd revert to 1.4.8 with some tweaks on the glaring stuff, and start working ...

Re: Time to recruit some Turtle WoW PVPers
While Ror could always need or benefit from a bigger population, I think a wow private server for pvp just has very little crossover to RoR in its current stage. I could be wrong though!
For my years on RoR there seem to have been two major factors drawing in new blood to the server,

Re: Everything wrong with the 03/04/26 Patch
Im the messenger, dont shoot
Thanks for taking the time Emi, really appreciate it :!:
But if this is the RoR team trying to be transparent and then as you put it yourself, you are not informed or in those meetings, then this whole thing does come off abit sour. When you have to come out and ...

Re: Tometactics turned into siege-tactics
Normally I agree with you on a lot of ideas but these would be horrible for the game. Looking through the list of changes the core issue you seem to have with the current state of sieges is the power of oil but the changes you want to make here have some absolutely broken interactions to the point ...

Tometactics turned into siege-tactics
Hello,
Pvp-tactic slots got removed as a leftover from AoR to RoR. But the tome-tactic slot is still empty and open.
I have previously made suggestions for turning this into a Main-stat slot (Balistic, Int, Str, Toughness, Willpower) and then letting the 4 normal tactic slots stay open for build ...

Re: Current Population by Career?
Sorc being below (almost the same) popularity as Magus, is kinda shocking to me.
The disk mount is a deal-breaker for some, but while we are still somewhat in a proc viable meta for warbanding this kinda shows either that 2026 is way more puggish, or that destro just dont do much organized comps any ...

Zealot/RP QoL rebuffing
Hello,
Zealot and Runepriest have one of the stronger buffing passive class mechanics with the flexability to pick between 3 options of flat stats based on group composition, need and builds. That is a luxary. But with this advantage also comes frustation. Each individual buff takes a global ...

Re: Everything wrong with the 03/04/26 Patch
Also since the topic is called "everything wrong with the patch"
While being more anecdotal. Since the patch, I havnt seen that Random AAO event once despite several 3 hour EU primetime playsessions, 1 NA primetime play session, and some EU afternoon pug sessions, with aao on either side.

Re: Everything wrong with the 03/04/26 Patch
First of all, I admire the detailed response.
Second of all, as you mentioned and compared this patch to previous WS/Init patch and strikethrough.
As a member of the community, and not inside any inner circles. I can only go by official reasonings and speculations. But did these changes "need" to ...
