Re: 2026 Developer Roadmap
After ive slept on this for a couple of nights, I am now still pleased to read the roadmap. But I continue to have questions about the overall direction and allocation of manpower.
The map editor tool is HUGE! for the games potential. But really... You have this tool now seemingly, and the first ...

Re: 2026 Developer Roadmap
Overall thanks for the transparency, the headsup with dates and rough estimates and just coming out and telling us what is being worked on.
The main thing for me, is hearing about the world editor tool, its use already and its potential. It feels like just yesterday RoR had an article on MMORPG ...

Re: BW: Current state
While most of this is pulled out of my as* and from the past.
But I did do more than 100+ city instances back when that was the main drive in the game and my experiences on BW was that I could pugstomp most comps because thats just what the class does, it punches down not up.
Azeyune was the only WL ...

Re: BW: Current state
Yeah that city was a good example of pug stopping honestly. I had to take over target calling during stage3. That destro group was not experienced in city and neither calls nor comp met city standards. That's what people refer to about it's different being an aoe bw in NA hours and how you can get ...

Re: BW: Current state
In an attempt to stay on topic, and the state of BW.
Brightwizard can function, both its singletarget timestamping in orvr smallscale/scs. aoe build for funneling with RoF pugging, organized 2-2-2 melee closerange bomber fully supported and zergsurfting with FBB burning head annihilate build.

Re: BW: Current state
Yeah, BW is so great that Bombling switched to mSH...
I dont wanna derail the topic, so ill commeny on this in my own mixed up view:
if I were to give classes a score or one of those new character creation sympols showing how each career performs i would give BW compared to MSH the following ...

Re: The main replay loop of this game.
I dont speak for the ROR team at all here. But, to Bombling and others wanting to foster change and help out, I think something that may help the development team introduce campaign changes is to offer to help test. Can we even create an "offline" way to test the impact of proposed campaign ...

Re: The main replay loop of this game.
I dont know why RvR is such a special case compared to other gamemodes and issues. But its just impossible to get a direct answer to what the plan is, what the issue seems to be and where the bottleneck is.

Re: BW: Current state
I thought for sure this was a Bombling post.
Im kinda just awaiting the fabled RDPS patch honestly, to see if any of my most liked classes in their closerange aoe builds will be nuked. Sorc, BW, MSH, dpszealot.
As for the fireclown, Flashfire really is the only thing on the class making it fun ...
