Re: Are the Devs Ever Going to Fix Slayer?
... I am not asking for destro to lose anything, just that Order be granted a remotely equal toolset of CC.
At first glanse. No! Absolutely not. Not as long as Order have such a huge advantage in raw damage output with Funnelpower, Flashfire, Lilitharrow, Barrage spam, Broadhead etc on top of ...

Re: [Sorc] Similar sorc build to BW rain of fire
The closests is maybe double righttree tactic for Infernal wave, and every 5sec shotgunning it into a frontal fight from 65ft range.
But due to the more keypresses than BW doing one channel every 10sec you will face more Backlashes, but atleast you are not as immobile.

Re: X2 Crest Event designed for DPS?
Maybe im missing something here(?)
But isnt the system for winning loot of a player kill related to the damage you do. Something like 10% of the enemyplayers health = 10%chance to win the loot. But that loot roll has an equal share between anyone you play with. The tanks guarding the dps have a fair ...

Re: New Twilight's Tide Ring & Updates to Blood-Iron rings
A nice addition to the game, I think.
Realisticly from what im hearing from tank mains is that they usually before didnt care about Twitlight tide event. On our our internal wish-list for rings this year tanks went from "nah no thanks" to "alright ill participate because theres actually something ...

Re: WAAAGH… RIP.
Take these two scenarios:
I dont think thats an unreasonable way to line it up.
As for the playerbase and the way us players play the game. I will answer this question, with an other one:
When was the last time an above average succesful warband guild played for the campaign? and could impact ...

Re: WAAAGH… RIP.
... Staying in a blob should completely eliminate the possibility of a lock zone...
I feel like this was the biggest takeawy in this topic so far.
And a couple of the underlying issues beneath this sentence, would be that a procentage of the undefined blob doesnt care about the zonelock any ...

Re: Lockout system is a failure and some people takes advantage of it
This feels like we are talking, and blaming the symptoms of a sick-campaign.
Yes the new free-to-swap-to-aao-side lockout did exactly what most veterans could had predicted and took us back to pre-90min-fort lockout cases.
But as the game has long been in a "killing" mindset, naturally year by year ...

Re: 2026 Developer Roadmap
After ive slept on this for a couple of nights, I am now still pleased to read the roadmap. But I continue to have questions about the overall direction and allocation of manpower.
The map editor tool is HUGE! for the games potential. But really... You have this tool now seemingly, and the first ...

Re: 2026 Developer Roadmap
Overall thanks for the transparency, the headsup with dates and rough estimates and just coming out and telling us what is being worked on.
The main thing for me, is hearing about the world editor tool, its use already and its potential. It feels like just yesterday RoR had an article on MMORPG ...

Re: BW: Current state
While most of this is pulled out of my as* and from the past.
But I did do more than 100+ city instances back when that was the main drive in the game and my experiences on BW was that I could pugstomp most comps because thats just what the class does, it punches down not up.
