Wargrimn, I agree that the AM mechanic had several issues and could benefit from a rework, but as someone who regularly switched between heal and dps spec and loved using the mechanic to the max, I think you have a few misunderstandings about how the mechanic worked.

Small correction to the above and further comments.

Healer AM/Sh gets a 25% damage boost for instant cast spells, just like DPS AM/Sh gets the same boost for instant healing spells.

The optimal damage rotation for a healer, if you ever have time to use it in an even fight, is 3 DoTs -> Radiant ...

For my dps gear, I've been using my lvl 25 staff which I've had since before T4 came out, and I'm looking to upgrade. Would be nice if the punt was treated as a damage ability and consumed a mechanic charge (and if it's not the case currently then would also be nice if charged damage abilities used your converted int instead of your base int to attempt to get through disrupt rates, not sure if that's the case or ...
