Re: WE build?
Thanks for the guidance, everyone. Will give it another try. May try more offensive Witch Brew first, as I may just not have enough burst yet for a Ruthless Assault spec.

Re: WE build?
Hey all, been levelling a WE to RR66 in full Vanq. However, I really struggle getting any meaningful kills, so any advice would be appreciated. It may be a gear issue (RR66 and all that), that I got the wrong build (def Witch-brew), or a skill issue (mains are rDPS and healer, so not too used to ...

Re: Current best Am healing builds?
The question is at which point the opportunity cost of the skill becomes too high to pick it up ? You need +2 sov to be able to build 13/0/13 and u have to pass on some good utility like silence, res debuff and/or tactics. You sacrifice it to get some mediocre skill (~800 heal vs previous 1100-1200 ...

Re: Current best Am healing builds?
EoV got nerfed various times in a row, but is still valid. Previously it was our go-to heal, now it's just one of various choices that we have. It doesn't mean that it's dead though, although I now typically use only in a few instances: 1) At 5 Tranq and we're kiting, as it's an insta-cast 2) When ...

I run the following: https://builder.returnofreckoning.com/career/archmage/s?l=40&r=80&tl=4&mp=0&pA=13&pB=0&pC=13&m1=9302&m2=695&m3=696&m4=697&ma=32083,9258,9251,9274&mm=&mt=9293&t=9276,9278,9293,32079 I don't use Discipline, but instead swapped out my Armour talis for Willpower ones, as RvR is ...

Re: Patch Notes 18/04/2025
Haven't played that much, but the int heal spec I've played so far seems to be about 20-50% better (used to be about the same) than the handful of BIS willpower healing AMs I've come across. While still doing less healing overall vs pre-patch. And the gap up to warrior priest level has increased. I ...

Re: Patch Notes 18/04/2025
AM's are absolutely pumping heals atm in WB play, perhaps have a look around for some different specs if you do not feel the same. Re: Patch Notes 18/04/2025
To be fair, Archmage's damage output even with the Radiant Gaze bug was not higher than an equally geared dps. Usually a bit below unless you get into a funnel situation and have the archmage constantly spam radiant lance, thereby exposing themselves to pulls and so on. As far as I'm concerned, it ...

Re: Patch Notes 19/03/2025
Hello everyone, we have just found out that the keep claim bonus to rolls is not working. We are working on it. Thanks for that, Natherul. One other thing that you could perhaps look into? Sacrificial Renewal for Archmages does not appear to trigger on HoTs, which feels like an oversight as its ...

Re: Patch Notes 19/03/2025
Lambent Aura - No longer heals two additional allies. Light of Isha - New core tactic at level 26: Lambent Aura now heals two additional allies within 15 feet of your target. Lambent Aura got a slight buff via the mechanic change, but losing the baseline splash effect is an overall nerf to the ...
