May i know how u resolved it? i got the same problem. I DL'ed the game client with torrent but don't have the patch 1.4.8 atm. Do u know where i can DL it? May it help? Thx in advance!

The patch is included in the game client. You don't DL the patch separately.

I have exactly the same problem as well in terms of no option to create a character etc. It does state version 1.4.8 as well in the bottom corner.

I'm also getting this error message:

Then you're using the wrong patched version of the game. Make sure you have patch 1.4.8[/quote]

how do i fix/change the patch? I used the torrent in the step by step instructions on this website so.. not sure how it isnt working ...

Sorry i just found how to fix that, but now, when that loads to the start screen.

The only buttons i see is cinematic, credits, settings, and quit. There is also a empty text box in the middle right.

There is no way i see to make a character or start playing.
