As a dps AM its easy to cast 5 dps spells and get an insta cast on a grp heal to help out my grp. So why would I want to change that?

Because in t2 your group heal is actually pretty nice as there is no real spec or full dps/heal gear, but in later tiers it will be mostly useless if you are dps ...

I think we'll all agree to say that AM/shamans are the worst healers (especially in later tiers) and that their mechanic is badly designed, so here's my idea : instead of having healing skills improve dps skills effectiveness/cast times and vice-versa, why not having instant skills reduce casted ...

I don't really think DPS DoK/WP need a total overhaul, they work well in certain comps and could use a small buff like the gap closer suggested.

They got so much hate because so many pug dps spec WP/DoK tend to do terribly and draw ire because people see them and go "instead of being garbage they ...

Sneaky-or not- troll. Someone posted something on the forum so you need to bash for no reason. I was just asking if balance will change of is set in stone. I'm not playing dps healer (that's useless...), I just used AM/WP as examples of broken mechanics ...

Stat conversion is already in game, rp/zealot. Could be applied to melee healer WPs. The big thing I'm seeing here is the divide between ppl who want the class go be a viable dps option and the ppl who want to be a healer but melee being how you heal.

Most ppl play both order and destro, so both sides are the same. Choose freely

Not sure the aoe detaunt is enough but maby I'm wrong. As for tanks, increasing base value would help, but if I'm not mistaken blocked/parried attacks will still not heal, so the issue remains.

Maybe base value heal can still go off even when blocked/parried, and only the +x% damage is ignored ...

Ok, glad to hear you're at least willing to make change (I don't exactly understand how coding works but I understand it is not really easy to change things :s). I've also seen the discussion about WP/DOK (damn, I would be sooo happy to be able to melee heal ). Thx for quick rep !

Glad to see I'm not the only one that's sad not to be able to melee heal with a WP/DOK ^^. Issues with melee WP are :
1°) he needs a guard to be viable, so that's one dps that will not be guarded
2°) he lacks a decent option to reach melee range. A healer has to be reliable, if a ...
