Since KotBS/CH mechanic is kinda fire and forget, so maybe its slowly time to think how to change that?

absorb change - balance question:
certain classes eg tank classes like the "bubble sm" (or maybe bg as well) depended more on absorbs for survivability than other tanks and were balanced around that.

Just fix the wording on the skill as it's misleading in its current state. The skill reads as follows:
"For up to 10 seconds your superior training allows you to easily Parry the next 4 attacks made against you. Any defense made in this time will restore Action Points to everyone in your group ...

Ansorb change is nothing like on live. On WAR it was first toughness reduction, then absorb effect and rest mitigation effects lke armor, resists, etc. And even like that absorbs were quite weak. Here we have even less value from absorbs which is kinda disappointing.

Thanks, but again, there's no mention of when Absorb contacts the formula. As I mentioned in my edit of my prior post, the formula at the top is listed in the order of DAMAGE, MITIGATION, ABSORB. Which is implying that all mitigation ...

There is nothing in that formula about Absorb.

Sure, but then how is the claim that absorb goes before mitigation valid when I clearly remember testing it and finding that absorb was affected by toughness values.

maybe (probably) doesn't make a difference as long as it is infront of mitigation.
Toughness being hit before absorb allowed tanks with bubbles and high toughness to survive far longer than would be normal. This is why regen on high toughness Blackguards and Swordmasters was effective because ...
