What Level are the items you want to salvage ?

Because if you just learned magical salvation, then your character starts with skill level 1 and only low level items are salvagable.
Did you try to salvage Shattered Figurine from the Craft Supply Merchant ?

I just tested Salvaging. I was able to salvage Annihilator slayer hands with 200 salvaging. Seems to be working.

I tried installer and torrent file install. Also the things I am trying to salvage are green and show a 90% or better chance to salvage.

Is there a chance of just skipping the item? File a report on bug tracker if you like and continue with other items to salvage.

No. nothing yet. Even found a few other posts complaining about this issue and a two bug reports....but have not seen any resolution

I have searched the forums, uninstalled and re-installed the game three times trying to get Salvage to work.......it is not allowing me to salvage a magic item in my backpack:

I just started playing the game too - i am having the same issue. box that opens when you try to salvage an item. Says,
"Item can be salvaged into:"
but the box is empty expect for accept or cancel button.
When you accept, nothing happens and item is still in backpack.
