Return of Reckoning

The launcher keeps trying to download 744 files after it goes through Manifesting and then Verifying art. It says "downloading 1/744" and goes up by increments of 1, slowly. I downloaded the game through the torrent and read each step and yet this keeps happening. Am I supposed to download...
