Return of Reckoning

I just started an engineer character. I have ventured in to the lake area and now the game shuts down almost immediately.

Any advice on how to address this issue?

Everything loads fine and I can select my character. About 15 seconds into the game I am disconnect. The entire program shuts down and I am back in on my main screen looking at the launcher.
