Re: What if you were benefited from not being Xrealm?
Despite the good intentions of this idea, the reality is that players will exploit any system to maximize their rewards with the minimum effort required. In this case, they'd stack on the side with the biggest zerg and push zones, as not only do they get rewards for flipping zones, but now they get ...

Re: An option to experience PvE while leveling
...This is not WoW... No it isn't. WoW is the most successful MMO of all time and is still thriving with a large and dedicated player base to this day. This is a fan-developed remake of a long-dead game that was only live for a few years before it died due to the lack of players. This game isn't ...

Re: An option to experience PvE while leveling
Yeah right, you only want a way to keep up during bad RvR nights by playing a little PvE to keep having fun... ...PvE has way to much already to make it a fun and usable game mode, good gear, good mats and good lore.... Seems like more of an argument for the benefits of doing it than not. If the ...

Re: An option to experience PvE while leveling
I like this idea. Adding a small amount of renown to non-repeatable quests (so they can't be farmed) would give a great alternative levelling method beyond PvP. One of the big things the game has always lacked is a way to log in and have a relaxed gaming session to progress a character. It's sweaty ...

Re: New / Vet Players: What things do you wish the game taught via tutorials?
Assist. Most players play DPS, but even in the late game a large number have no idea how to assist. Assist is the most powerful ability for getting kills, especially in scenarios, and the fact that most players don't use it is a big factor in the constant "premades farm us in scenarios" forum ...

Re: My experience and review of RoR
The same problem always arises with the solo argument. Solo players expect to experience the game the way it was intended to be experienced, with coordinated groups with 2/2/2 group setups, but expect that to happen while they, and everyone around them, is playing their own solo game. Since that ...

Re: Whats your ideal 6 man group?
what was soo good of the 2009 tyrant set lol The cast time reduction proc that would reduce cast times by 50% and proc off HoTs, making it basically a permanent buff. Combined with focused mind = insta-cast group heal. With the insane regen rate of RF back then it was glorious, but super OP. It was ...

Re: Integrate bolster with the ward system
Thanks for the feedback both. What is difficult to understand about the current bolster? You get good bolster if your gear is close to your level. That's all that needs to be said. You don't need pots, or talis to get bolstered, just have gear near your level. Basically don't run Hunter set at level ...

Re: As a new player that fell in love with the game and wants it to succeed, please reconsider Bolster/Grouping of t2-3-
There is definitely a balance to be struck between closing the gear gap for lower levels and retaining better gear as a reward for higher levels. The power gap between lvl16 and rr60 is certainly a factor in new players leaving, but equally, the lack of carrot to chase at endgame causes higher-level ...
