Just for anyone facing the same issue:
just forget the installation via the launcher.
download the torrent and the exe and follow the guide on how to get it running and you are set.

Just installed the game and the direct x files but the fllwg error pops up when I start the launcher:
What is strage that even when I am logged in as admin (Win 10) and I untick the write protection box of the folder it is coming back.
Any ideas how to get the war rolling?
