I mean perhaps they are overperforming and need a nerf but then it should be symmetric, rSH looks a lot more fun to play and also stronger than rSW after the patch. At least they could just mirror rSH if they have no vision or concept on what to do ...

This comment has no value. Feedback on Dev error is why there is a comments section tied to the proposed patch notes. The Powers will likely ignore it as they seem committed to folly, even so...

rDPS is easy to assist, easy to synchronize burst, easy to kite, easy to bypass guard by its nature and is harder to detaunt it.
It also takes 1/10 of effort for 2 rDPS to snipe someone while blob surfing compared to doing same as mDPS (which ...

Scout got their damage backloaded and harder to execute or easier to avoid at best.
Assault got their defences gutted and will melt in seconds for a dubious dps increase if any at all.
Skirmish got their AOE reduced to a point where they would be a detriment to anything but a pug WB.

I think we should make a distinction between best option and viable option. Is SW the best ranged option after the patch? Probably not, there will be many situation where other classes will be better. Which is good, the amount of SWs in the current version clearly shows it's not a correctly ...

Without adequate defences, ASW will stay irrelevant for most part in its niche smalls scale role, you don't do any DPS when dead. An inferior version of WL with a little ''ranged'' utility (which after skirmish tree nerfs is quite weak indeed).
