well I can assure you the server is still down.

the website says its down, I cant log in, and everybody else is saying they cant log in either so all evidence points to server being down.

Devs said the server was getting backed up with requests and had to take the server down before it crashed ...

no. after you've download the patch files any further updates will take seconds.

just like any other big MMO the first time download is the longest.

I play on cellphone internet and know those pains of having to wait days for big patches to download.
