I get this issue where I can't talk to shop NPCs as well. Try reloading your UI because that usually fixes it for me. If you are not sure how to do that then type this in your chat and press enter.

Ah okay. So it's removed thing, gotcha. I just saw the vendor and was wondering if there was a way to still buy pieces from him because I was missing a piece of Sentinel.

Thank you for the change to Dwarf/Greenskin forts, and listening to our feedback. I am sure this will be a huge improvement and make those forts a lot more fun.
