As this day in age keep lords are easy to kill. They essentially drop in a few seconds when a zerg hits the keep preventing any sort of inner sanctum defense.
My proposition is to replace the Lord with either an actual Lord character or to place a capturable flag in the center of the Lord room ...

I just have one quick question if y'all don't mind, what was wrong with the original system in 1.4.0? It seemed to work fine. People fought, zones locked, people got gear, people got renown, people took keeps, you didn't have to physically rub someone off to get them to take a keep.

It's not what's supposed to happen it's what will actually happen. I can assume the public to be smart, which is not the case, this does not automatically mean they will act smart simply because I assume they will. It's a poor choice to make the defender's job easier.

So you made it easier to defend keeps by allowing the defenders to do more damage to the assaulters? Because it was too easy to take a keep before? This means people now have less incentive to attack keeps because they will now get focused down by AoE and AoE cannons. GG

The thing is there is nothing to give you that large amount of income because there is no PVE. The income generated is through killing. Removing that source of income works against everyone. Lets just say that decreasing income increases the value of currency therefore causing prices to drop.

Everyone constantly complains about fighting premades as pugs. Yea you get rolled 99% of the time and it's usually a bad ass kicking, but those scenarios where you manage to beat a premade is so much more rewarding than beating pugs.
