Its working now. I deinstalled my network drivers complete and reinstalled them. now its working. Thanks for all the guys who helped here to solve the problem. Edit: but only for one time.... dam it

Norw the login fails again.... (i hate this)

I know the problem is on my end since I can log in with my notebook. @Genisaurus: I think you guys do an awesome job here, Serioskillers post seams to be unfair. I apriciate thet all the guys are trying to help. Maybe figuring out the problem takes time. I just run out of ideas what to do exept ...

did not work... still the same issue

from the RoR directory on both computers, same folder as the war.exe
installing on c: did not help

both are 64bit, only on my main computer is the one with the more features. Is it important wether the software is installed on c: ?
Because thats an other difference. on my notebook the files are on C: and on my main desktop the files are on D:

no did not help at all unfortunatelly. the server scrteen stays black...

thats the funny thing both computers run on windows 7. my main desktop runs on win7 ultimate and my notebook on win7 home premium

no only letters and numers. I am logged in at the moment with my notebook that goes in over the same network

ok there must be a problem with my computer since i can log in with my notebook...
