So u think shield priest is great cause he only shines in 1v1 and duo?
This part is probably true. Try it in a full party as u need guard, heal is low, dmg not really there. It´s like "oooh, i have one good ability,this class is OP."
It was good after the initial healer patch, just needed a bit fine ...

That´s what i mean.
I played shield before and also after the initial healer patch, only in small scale. They made the shield priest too strong even if i liked it ;)
But what they did with the second patch was ridiculous, the end of the shield priest.

A lot of people made a lot of really good suggestions in different posts over a long time. But sadly none of them are taken into consideration nor small balance patches.
It could be there are 1 or 2 shield priests still out there but most of us stopped playing this build. It was already a small ...

Just wondering if the camping of the order warcamp in Praag doesn´t give that much satisfaction? This kind of play style is just BS on both sides. Just why?

What if ...
Get rid of shield. Make middle (melee group healer with low dmg) and right tree 2h (pure dps with low heal, only st), left tree book.
Let the healing abilities in middle tree scale with willpower instead of str.
Give the middle tree healing a dmg part or requirement to hit someone in 5 ...

I´m a bit divided. Adding stuff for the weekly sounds nice. But if u need to take or defend a keep 3 times, casual players (who don´t play every day for hours and hours) get a hard time to finish the weekly.

Point is to make this melee healer build playable. I think the approach was to create 3 different playstyles. Book for pure ranged heal, 2h for dmg and middle tree (atm shield) as a mix of both. Right now this last option doesn ...

I really hope the devs take all the really good suggestions on board and think about a "Shield re-patch". I enjoyed this build until the second patch so much and i´m not alone. Would be nice to get the shield build back on track.
