Its possible to climb the hills near the statues (from an earlier quest) to get onto the goat path that is an exit from the top. You can try and glitch up over the downed tree, or you can go further up towards the starting area, use your mount and jump along the hills to the path.

<Warhammer Install Folder>\user\usersettings.xml holds the resolution settings near as I can tell. delete/rename it and try again.
