Unless you intend of running around with a pockethealer and guard, it's been pointed out by devs
that choppa is a very weak solo Mdps and you're better off with WE, DoK or Marauder (Or any 2handed tank).
Their singeltarget 2handed tree has been a target for discussion for a long time for being weak ...

That the choppas has been considered the weakest melee since release
and it's still not sorted out, begs me to question why.
Healdps is better dps because of better sustain, dpstanks are better because of sustain,
and all other melee dps are better because of either escape mechanics or just better ...

Choppas are AoE machines and can apply pressure to a large force at any one time. They shouldn't also be able to ST nuke people. What's next? Being able to tank?

Class diversity is something Warhammer has pushed from its inception. If you want to solo players, check out the WH or the WE. If ...

IF a choppa with double heal-debuff needs help killing a healer 1on1, i'd say they're broken.
A solo healer should pretty much be dead man walking against a choppa,
otherwise there's no point to the choppa solo or in team, because they have no force-multipliers.

so i'm wondering... what buffs ?. I've been away for a while and considering coming back.

After a long break from the game, i'm considering coming back and bringing friends, but first i'd like to know
if the balance issue with the choppa and slayer still remains unsolved.
Namely the INSANE penalty towards their defense when going berserk and thereby taking away
the use of their mechanic ...

From what has been discussed several times on this topic, both Choppa's and slayers are the only class that has a broken mechanic because we are simply not allowed to use it's full potential without being branded as a nub and "choppas should know better then use Wot Rulez".

Honestly Grim, can you tell us a good reason to play Choppa instead of Marauder, apart from being an Orky fan ?.

How popular do you think it would be if BW's and Sorcs had the same debuff as Choppas and Slayers ...
