T1 isn't balanced whatsoever.

A good healer is worth 3-5 other players in t1, and they're unkillable 1v1. You need heal debuffs, interrupts/knockdowns, etc. which you won't get until t2.

Enough AOE (chop / magus) can slowly kill groups in t1 because healers lack good group heals and AP generation.

The least they could do is make the mechanic do zero damage if you're not pvp flagged.

I don't know who is doing the item rebalance (specifically war crest weapons) but it's pretty bungled up at this point, across every tier.

Making the crest weapons garbage is not balancing anything, and the primary users are <40s. So why are they being punished?

Sorc and BW has easy access to strongest stats in game (crit chance and crit damage) and backlash is a price for it.


It's still kind of a dumb mechanic. The only people it really does anything to are soloers/pvers and pug/sc players.

Just make it build up slower, wear off quicker, and do zero ...

Add an ignore feature for entire guilds.

Altar, hidden basket, it all works the same.

I've posted this like 5x in the last week as people keep making new topics.

1) you summon hero and take more than ~5mins to kill it
2) it despawns in front of you
3) drop quest in log
4) wait a few minutes
5) click altar again and quest window will pop to summon him again

No need to go back to ...

You just drop the quest and click the altar again. But if the hero JUST despawned you need to wait a few mins.

How is the fact that the OP is talking about the total damage before all mitigation going over so many heads?

Onlymelee broke down the formula. I'd guess he also had a 15% signal flare debuff. 3 lines isn't enough to see what's going on in any case.

It kind of depends on what made you dislike pvp over the years.


I think it's just that, I am just not good at predicting real people. I can learn to fight npcs right. I can learn their moves and when they do them and how to counter, pretty set in stone for the most part. I find a real person ...
