Return of Reckoning

I tried to use the fixes here: https://appuals.com/how-to-fix-folder-k ... indows-10/ to remove the read only, but I still couldn't get it to work. The VPN I downloaded is called ProtonVPN, not sure if it'll help but that one solved it for me.

Had trouble fixing the read-only issue. However I did manage to solve my problem by using a VPN and just connecting to the nearest server, not entirely sure why that works but I can get in the game now. Thanks for your help Acidic!

I don't run any torrent software.

I'm assuming write protect = read only setting. The folder is marked read-only and seems to stay that way no matter what I do to change it, but all of the files are have read-only toggled off.

Whitelisted the game and launcher, no change

So basically my issue is: The game will launch, but the normal "connecting, handshaking" etc. messages in the box on the right don't show up and about a minute later I get a popup saying "Authentication failed -- Application will now terminate." I haven't been able to play since ...
