Return of Reckoning

Just loaded up RoR and found a blank screen greeting me. I assume it has to do with the most recent patch so I tried the RoRupdater to no avail. The updater has crashed every time I tried to use it. Should I use WARpatch?

My Black Orc Krugman died in Troll Country and now every time I try to load him it crashes. I have tested with other characters and nothing else is crashing. Any help would be appreciated.
