I overlooked the setup in the DirectX9 folder after finally being able to download it.
The installer worked this time and I am able to play the game.

However as I said in my original post, I already downloaded Directx9 from Microsoft. The installer keeps saying I am already in possession of the newest Directx so I can not download Directx9.

I am aware of topics with this subject however there are not solutions for me to be found there.

I redownloaded WAR. Did not help.
I tried to download Directx9. Did not help, it said I already had the latest version.

Any help?
