Not much else to add, except to follow the tutorials and remember that this was re-built from the ground up by unpaid devs that loved the original game SO much that they'd worked like hell to get it to the place that it is. It's still a little janky. It's not WoW ...

Pick up one of the fantastic Omnibus' on Amazon. I would lean toward Gotrek and Felix, Vol 1, or Matthias Thulmann: Witch Hunter. But, there's something for everyone out there, Order and Chaos bend alike.
In game, there is the Tome of Knowledge. Believe it or not, there is boatloads of lore content ...
