Re: Patch Notes 20/05/2021

I really think the devs should post more metrics about the game. They seem to have some and use them as a tool to evaluate destro/order dominance and balance issues. (Like scenario win rates/city win rates/classes distribution) We had a class distribution graph in the Q&A but it was showing ever...

Re: Patch Notes 13/05/2021

The devs shouldnt focus on personnal MMR. It would be far better to try to match the average MMR of your team as well as possible. This way, the matches would be far more balanced. If you have a full 1400 squad and you meet those almighty 1750+ guyz, you would be sure that they have one or two 1100 ...

Re: Trivial Blows vs Futile Strikes: Which one is better ?

For me, there is only one conclusion. FS is far better than TB. period. But, yes, on your veryyyy unlucky moments, where everything crits and FS does not do its job properly ... yes, on those moments only, you wish you had taken TB. But if you had taken TB, you would have taken far more damage durin...

Re: Trivial Blows vs Futile Strikes: Which one is better ?

Nice calculations. I think one thing is overlooked however, and sighy pointed that out. Trivial Blows reduces maximum crit potential ; aka maximum burst. Futile Strikes does not reduce maximum burst, only reduces the change of that maximum burst occuring. On paper it sounds like the two may be even...

Re: Trivial Blows vs Futile Strikes: Which one is better ?

DPS in any group has 60% chance to crit, if you ignore FS completly. Even, if they don't by themselves. With 300 ini, your chance to be crit is around 10%. You should expect to be ini debuffed, and then your chance to be crit being ~15%. Obviously, thats not the end of troubles, as you can expect s...

Trivial Blows vs Futile Strikes: Which one is better ?

Hello guyz, During the last week, I have heard many people talking about Trivial Blows being better or worse than Futile Strikes. So, lets' do some maths. First, we need to understand how much damage crits really give: For usual classes (with no crit damage bonuses), crits damage adds 45% more damag...

Re: Patch Notes 03/03/2021

Super. A up for 2H tanks means a nerf for SnB who are already pretty damn useless right now. Now, we can parry magic damage. Great ... very logical indeed. And yep ... Hold the Line, the almighty SnB skill is just ridiculous as it doesnt help you a bit against guard spell damage. But the big 2h tank...

Re: [Theorycrafing] Toughness beyond understanding

Toughness reduction is applied before the cast time multiplication - so it gets multiplied too. Cast time of fireball is 3 seconds, cast time of BB defaults to 1.5 - so you have double the reduction from toughness on fireball. Hmm ... What you say makes perfect sense. That would mean than the bowli...

Re: [Theorycrafing] Toughness beyond understanding

I know this post and it doesnt explain it.
If this post was right, Fireball and Boiling Blood which are skills with almost exactly the same flat values should be mitigated the same way.
It is not the case.

Re: [Theorycrafing] Toughness beyond understanding

Fireball and Boiling Blood have flat values that are pretty much the same (866 and 799) and one has a 53% reduction and the other one 28%.
Your explanation doesnt work Elemint.
