Return of Reckoning

Is there a mechanism which tells you, at a glance, where everybody is in the world? Even if it was just general regions rather than exact co-ordinates.

I'd like to play where other people are, where the world is more densely populated, where there is a real, live population as opposed to just NPCs ...
