Solo IB was great back in the times. Nowadays after all those changes to classes I am convinced that any 2h tank is better than IB. Both 2h Kobs and 2h SM are supperior in terms of survivability, group wide utility and damage.

Slayer changes:
It is a mixbag. Inevitable doom duration randomnes wasnt lifted. It deal 50% less damage to initial target :/

Violent impact tactic - 25% armor pen for exhaustive attacks only in Furious. Handy for low levels and fresh lvl 40. Can be ignored by endgame character that almost sists ...

I had the most fun playing Squigherder (rdps). I'm trying a Bright Wizard now but I think it's harder to master than a Sorceress because of less cc.

I don´t know how about other fellow shamman players, but I have fun with the class if its either full healer or full glass cannon DPS.

Not sure if or how the dps/healing shamman works. Back in the days before FoDG was changes Shamman could do a good healing with that in a DPS spec.

Sorc/BW hands down followed by WL (not that great as it was on live tho). Than I would say Magus/WH?

I suggest try all to around lvl 30 to have a bigger picture how they perform and if you like the playstyle.

My favourites from your list are Engineer and Shamman.

Engineer is one of the most fun class I have played even he is not super duper killing machine like BW.

Solo 2h IB without GnM is dead. Even solo 2H Knight is better now.
