I tried what you said. The launcher still gave me an error but the game launched. Unfortunately there was no create character button. Just options for Cinimatic, Credits, Settings, and Quit. The file for the game is sitting in my downloads folder, probably wouldn't be a problem with my torrent ...

I installed the launcher and logged in but when i hit connect i get this long message
