If I remember correctly, it’s been a few years since I read a similar post. This game being 2008 technology, runs on a single thread, so it’s pretty much overkill to throw a modern cpu/gpu at ror. I’m looking at an $800 gaming laptop for my dedicated ror device.

Ahh, that’s a significant gotcha. Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, the 1300+ war crests to complete my invader ward doesn’t look too bad now. I’m going to see how many crests I can accumulate between mid 76 to 80 and go from there. I’m averaging 1 k per week so not a major hurdle.

You should absolutely do PVE to get the equivalent ward if you can. The time investment you save is huge, even if you have to run a certain dungeon 4 times.
I actually meant to ask about PVE wards in my original post. Since I’ve not participated in any dungeons yet, can I jump right into BS or ...

Looking for Large Active Guild
After a 3 year absence, I am looking to get back into the game. As such, I am looking to join a large and active guild/alliance since trying to pug is not an enjoyable experience.

I went into T1 yesterday and was blown away at the huuuge number of new players. I have been on the server for over 3 years and have never seen anything close to this.
I wouldn't mind a full character reset at this point to get everyone on the same level even though I have hundreds of hours ...

By the time I started playing on live, forts had just been disabled and City sieges were the final step after the final zone lock. I remember the constant talk in chat and forums of what a lagfest forts had become and how and why mythic finally punted and ditched them completely.
