its not going into the loading screen it disconnects and tries going through handshake stage and freezes there, until you exit.
I can log in my other characters no problems.

clicking on the connect button does nothing, than it grrey's out forcing you to restart launcher and repeat

i have a suggestion that might help with the concerns that it will diminish numbers in PVE and SC's, instead of a lockout can you do it, that when you enter RVR zone, you do not get any rewards (XP INF Renown and Bags).

cleared cache and managed to log in on different character but once you log out or crash back to the same thing can't log in keep getting disconnected and sometimes critical error Authentication Failure
