Companies like EA will never respond positively to such requests or emails. There is always a chance that the game, its art assets or anything associated with it can bring in money. That is why companies almost never release source code, art assets, rights and so on to its software / games.

So the message in the launcher is just wrong? Is there a better way to tell if the server is online? I hate to issue false reports if that's all this is.
