Eff me, people are so petty. Running it in Admin Mode seemed to do the trick, though it did take a few tries. But cheers for the help!

Oh, I wasn't aware of that, but that would certainly explain a lot. Why on earth would someone be doing that?

Just to piggyback on this, I am also getting this error, when I have had absolutely no problems connecting prior to this. I have read through the solutions, and have tried restarting the launcher about 20 times. Also getting handshake errors on loading the website too, which is a first time thing ...
