Re: WE's: Post/Discuss your current spec/build
Just to have this thread active. I tried three builds (rr gap 62-65): All were SS/PA spec 1) 1042 str, 21% crit (semi-glass) 2) 1042 str, 26% crit (glass) 3) 920 str, 19% crit (30% parry, 20+ disrupt) And for my playstyle the third build is the best. In glass and semi-glass I still could not kill ...

Re: Quality of Equipment
Now the rr and gear gap is not even significant. With removal of resolute defense, cleansing wind - all you get is passives. Which again is in favor of ppl who want to be equal. Now a 40/40 is able to kill a 40/80 end game player. The gap in gear and rr between those two is like 10-15% crit and 20 ...

Re: Quality of Equipment
Gear and significant impact of gear on gameplay are a must imo. It gives a feeling of accomplishment, you worked hard for it, you get a cookie. As others mentioned this is the principle or RPGs. It would be great to have even more sets, offensive/defensive. Combining different sets is the best. You ...

[WE] Finishers
Problem: -WE's finishers are underpowered. -Witchbrew is the only option damage wise. As a result a whole "school" of people using just the +15 crit tactic and AW spam appeared. -Subsequently the mechanic of the class is poorly used, puncture or sacrificial stab are viable only versus squishes ...

Re: WE's: Post/Discuss your current spec/build
Until it got fixed please do your tests. If you come to a enemy keep in a "non-active zone", there are still npc's in the keep (healers, trainers on top floor). They are attackable, immortal and you can hit them from behind infinitely. Would be really interesting to see somebody using the jewelry ...

Re: WE's: Post/Discuss your current spec/build
So what is better: 2 x subj weapons or 1 conq. weapon + subj ? I can provide you an answer in 1-2 weeks. I am 50 medals from second conq weapon. Then I need at least 1M dmg of RVR and probably I will have an answer. So far as I mentioned Subj as an offhand gives you 3% of dmg just as a proc. It was ...

Re: WE's: Post/Discuss your current spec/build
Some routine test results to share. I can be wrong, so you can give your feedback. First: Brute force (BF) is around 7% of my dmg only (empirical testing). So decided to remove it. The drop in damage is not that significant, the problem is parry. The parry rate of enemies who stack parry was like 20 ...

Re: Dummies for testing
It is just someone for some peculiar reason is against players getting better through empirical understanding of their builds. I guess the problem is that with a reference dummy you can get all the math out, even a small "ninja" tweak of a class can be objectively detected. And it seems it is not ...

Re: Dummies for testing
Heh. I thought it was a player-friendly idea with no negative aspects. Well, maybe the devs saw some. We will never know. Maybe one day...
