The game wants a strong single core on your cpu, a large amount of cpu cashe, and ram. you gpu barley maters to it. So look for something with a x3d amd processer and overclock at least 1 thread for it.

Darkpromise is not a real upgrade over that set due to a lack of ws / armor pen. Your next upgrade is either full invader, 5 sov - 3 tri or just waiting for bis 5 sov - 4 tri. That said you can get the LV armor pen ring from there which is an upgrade for the 1 non set jewel you are wearing.

Honestly even small scale not solo has been hit hard recently. I usually roam with 3-5 during the day and we will have entire wbs chase us across the zone while we find scant few small fights to enjoy. Overall it feels like small player count groups are just dying out.

There is realm pride if you look for it. Both factions have their side only guilds and one of the larger alliances on destro has it as a rule that all guilds must be destro only.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that Slayer (and I'd imagine Choppa too) feels better than before in warband setting.
Yes, you lost some survivability in Yellow, but that pales in comparison to the sheer utility, and QoL things Slayer gained.

Is there a reason you dont think you will be able to make friends in this game? Most players are pretty friendly.

The vast majority of the game is pvp as leveling your pvp rank is required to wear many of the games sets of armor. Unlike WoW the game expects you to level doing pvp and is balanced around you doing so. When you do some PvE as a tank you are mostly focusing on using taunt and challange to keep aggro.

I would argue against the sav swap on engage. While it will pad your damage for a short duration your choppas and sorcs need at least 5 seconds to setup (yellow rage, dahr wind) so you wont be adding much to the burst. First you will need to dedicate your build toward either ranged which tends to kite its enemies to death or melee which has good aoe capabilities.
