What about changing base healing from "on hit" to "on attack"? If it can be healdebuffed like a casted heal, why shouldn't it behave like one? You still would have to be in melee range, so I guess it won't break the melee healer idea.

IMO obtaining Invader is the main problem. Conqueror and Vanquisher you can just get from bags in RvR, but Invader does not drop so you have to pay several thousand crests for a set that you aren't going to wear long.

Other than that I don't see a problem. Some people say they are still short ...

I think the only ability that is worth it to wear all 8-pcs is Leading the Charge. Maybe maybe... Absolute Preservation, but even that is disputable.
For the Rest taking the whole set and not get additional Set bonuses is so not worth it. Especially since these abilities are on a 2 min cd.

Besides ...

If we remove disables from abilities just because people could grant some opponent a free immunity we need to remove every cc in the game, because there will always be an idiot engi/magus to throw a mine in, a tank randomly rooting people, or a a knight/chosen throwing a stagger out in the tchickest ...

I didn't say Choppas or Slayer are top tier in game. They are not on the best momment.

But choppa still far superior than slayer, as it has always been :)

I play this game since release and for the majority of time the slayer has been better than the choppa by a wide margin.

The Choppa is far superior to the Slayer. It has more wounds and the "Get to the Choppa" ability breaks up order formations, preventing them from building morale in critical moments or from escaping them in open terrain.

The server is lagging like crazy at the moment.

Game has lags yes, but the situation right now is not normal. Have some patience and give it a try.
