tried it with every combination of capitals and lowercase

I recently tried to respec my gathering skill using the ".respec gathering" command in the /say chat. However this did not do anything I also tried to do a .gm in order to get a Game Master's help however that command also did nothing.
Help would be loved as soon as possible.
