Re: Let's discuss AoE CC
Destro should have more CC and up-front damage (AoE KDs, pulls, stacking Stompin' and GTDC), and Order should have better healing and better defensive spells (KobS Heal Aura, Vigilance' and Vaul's Tempering party dmg reduction, WL's better than Mara's AoE Interrupt). Along with the difference in Mor...

Re: Melees overperforming
Yeah, they are. We'll have to wait till Devs reach the "Balance DPS" phase of their roadmap. To make a case for rDPS in WBs tho. They don't need Guard. You can make a 1 tank, 2 healers, 1 BW/Sorc (for the proc and they can even play midrange if u want) and 2 rDPS party and it will work. Th...

Re: Dev restart the balance to the beginning
A lot of the "riposte is fine" comes across as copium. Riposte is like any other proc; free damage for doing nothing - you often don't get to choose which skill to parry. The argument that it improves skill-based gameplay is also a misdirect; the skill required to overcome it is dispropor...

Re: Dev restart the balance to the beginning
Riposte isn't doing all this that OP thinks it is. I've been running it in my WBs for 2-3 weeks now, on Slayers running 4 Reflexes, Parry Talisman and an IB on their party. After strikethrough, thats a Slayer with 60% Parry. They are still doing less damage then WLs. It did 100k out of the 100kk Kil...

Re: Dev restart the balance to the beginning
A better indication that Choppa are strong atm is Gravord running 5 Choppas 4 cities in a row (with 4 DoKs and a Sorc), and Matt picking a double choppa comp (again with a DoK) for a ST party in city. I don't think they are super broken, but they are far from being bad. Their upfront dmg is really ...

Re: Dev restart the balance to the beginning
Yet still slayers deal more damage per their death than choppas ... and still your avarage slayer deals more dmg than a choppa... The changes were nerf for your run of the mill slayer player that played it only because the class included easy mode button, now you are stripped of one button to kill ...

Re: Meta classes
Ranged for SCs - all of them. Ranged for WBs (i'm assuming u mean true ranged, cuz a Sorc/BW/SH in WBs are basically melee dps) - Engis, Magus, Shadow Warriors. Healers for SCs - all of them. Healers for WBs - all of them, kinda. To be more specific: WBs want 4 Rune Priests and 4 Zealots, for their ...

Re: Remove 160 stat tactics
That sounds like A LOT of work for the Balance Team, ngl. If you give every class a 160 stats buff and another tactic slot you'll have to rethink all other tactics.

Re: Can we talk about the BO system?
Yeah, absolutely. LotD does both blob breaking and incentivizing - and blobs on smaller doses is actually very fun. So a system like that for regular oRvR can be awesome. Bigger maps, unlock 3 pairings, a points system that accounts for kills, holding BOs, Keep/Fort taking, and all that leads to Cit...
