Often overlooked thing is renown point gap which is additional power gap on top of gear gap. Just give everyone 80 renown points to spend as you ding 40. No need for bolster.

Dungeons dont need to be any harder in my opinion. Theres a reason a good chunk of playerbase doesnt want to run dungeons at all. They are extremely dull. The lockouts should be gone, too

I agree with you, it is also that you will miss on the crest rewards when you are taking genesis crests unlike prepatch you could just pick the reward that suits you (medallions/crests) when you happen to get the wrong piece of genesis/weapon.
